PA STATE MEET RESULTS
THE PREP OPTIONALS COMPETED IN THE PA STATE MEET THIS PAST WEEKEND. ALTHOUGH THEY MISSED PLACING AS A TEAM, THEY DID HOWEVER FINISH 13TH OUT OF 34 TEAMS AND THIS WAS THEIR HIGHEST TEAM SCORE OF THE YEAR.
IPO RESULTS:
KARI WINKELRIED IS THE ALL-AROUND PENNSYLVANIA STATE CHAMPION!!!! Kari had her highest all around of the year with a 37.075! Kari scored an impressive 9.425 on Bars tha made her the PA STATE CHAMPION on Bars. Kari also had a 9.185 on the Vault placing 4th, a 9.25 on the Beam placing her 3rd and a 9.275 on the Floor the placed her 2nd. CONGRATULATIONS KARI!!!
EMMA BRYAN also had a great State Meet. Emma had a spectacular Bar routine that scored a 9.225 and placed her 5th in the State!! Emma nailed her Beamroutine and scored a 9.20 that placed Emma 3rd in the State!!! Awesome job EMMA!!
TALIA MASTRIOIANNI finished the meet with a 34.75. Talia had a great season and improved so much throughout the year! her highest score of the meet was an 8.9 on Floor.
MEGAN MENESKIE was so close to placing on Beam! She scored an impressive 9.10 on Beam that had her 5th in the State of PA! She finished with a 34.40 All-Around score. her hard work and positive attitude allowed Megan to make some big improvements!
KATIE LUCA finished with a 33.975. Katie also had some major improvements this year! her highest score was an 8.925 on Floor!
SUSAN LUCA finished with a 33.875 in the All-Around. Susan had a dynamic Vault that scored her a 9.05! Susan had a great year!
NPO RESULTS
CLAIRE PFENNINGER also competed at the State meet. Claire finished with a 33.35. Although having a rough time on Beam, she pulled it together to get her highest Floor score of the season. She also had a great Bar routine that scored a 8.55 and placed Claire 7th in the State! Awesome job Claire!!
GREAT SEASON GYMNASTS!! PAULA AND HEATHER ARE SO PROUD OF YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS THIS SEASON AND WE LOOK FORWARD TO WATCHING YOU GROW! WE WILL BE BUSY WORKING HARD IN THE GYM FOR ANTHER SUCCESSFUL SEASON TO COME!

THE PREP OPTIONALS COMPETED AT THE WINTER FACE OFF AT GYM DANDY'S WHERE THE INTERMEDIATE PREP OPTIONALS PLACED 1ST!!!! The team was led by KARI WINKLERIED who finished with a 36.225 the placed her 1st! Kari also placed first on floor with a 9.225, first on beam, second on bars with a 9.10 and 3rd on Vault with a 9.0! Her highest scoring all-around so far this season!!! EMMA BRYAN finished 5th in the all-around in her age group with a 35.375. Emma finished first on bars with an impressive 9.20 score! Emma also finished 6th on floor! Great job Emma! Not far behind was MEGAN MENESKIE who had an outstanding beam routine that scored her a 9.225; good enough for 2nd place! Megan also had a great vault that scored a 9.25 that placed Megan 5th. Her final all-around score was a 35.250 which placed Megan 6th! Your hard work paid off! KATIE LUCA also had a great meet! Katie scored a 9.0 on vault and a 8.90 on floor that placed her 4th! SUSAN LUCA had an impressive vault that scored a 9.05! Susan had a beautiful floor routine but had a little too much power for her round-off back handspring tuck! It was still extremely impressive! She flew!!! TALIA MASTROIANNI finished with an All-Around score of 34.25 that placed her 13th in her age group. Talia also placed 7th on Bars with a 8.5! THE BPO ALSO COMPETED IN THE WINTER FACE OFF: CLAIRE PFENNINGER continues to show how much improvement she has made by finishing 4th in the all-around! Claire also had a beautiful beam routine that scored a 8.75 that was good enough for a 1st place finish!!!!! Claire also placed 2nd on bars! Keep up the hard work. TAYLOR HEID also competed although not feeling well but she pushed through and tried her best! We are very proud of Taylor of her achievements this year and cannot wait to see her compete again next year! Big thanks again to GIANNA JOVANELLY who continues to support her team while recovering from her injury! OUR NEXT MEET WILL BE THE STATES! KEEP UP THE HARD WORK GIRLS, WE ARE PROUD OF YOU!
